⚽ Improved Performance but Tough Result
Thelin felt Aberdeen’s effort and energy were back compared to previous games. The team pressed well, defended together, and created chances — but despite the improved performance, they still lost 2–0. He admitted it was a “big hit” given how much the players put in.
💪 Belief in the Team
Unlike earlier matches, Thelin said he saw a real collective spirit: players wearing the shirt with pride and fighting for each other. That gives him strong belief Aberdeen can turn things around, even if the results don’t yet show it.
🧠 Focus on What He Can Control
Thelin avoided speculation about his job security, stressing that he can’t control the board’s decisions. His responsibility is to stay strong, keep belief, and work daily to improve performances and results.
🤝 Players Gave Everything
He refused to blame individuals, insisting Aberdeen win and lose as a collective. The players created plenty of chances but just couldn’t finish. He praised their attitude, saying they never hid or gave up.
📈 Positives and Progress
Despite another defeat, Thelin highlighted progress: a more compact system, better central play, and stronger teamwork. The formation change worked well, and he believes it’s something they can build on for future matches.
🔮 Looking Ahead
Thelin admitted emotions were raw after the late collapse but urged the team to focus on the positives tomorrow and push forward. He remains convinced Aberdeen will turn things around with continued belief, effort, and small improvements.
