Inverness have announced the signing of former Motherwell defender Louis Laing.
Caley Thistle boss Richie Foran last week revealed the 23-year-old was weighing up several offers and he has now signed on in the Highlands until the end of the season.
Laing comes in at an opportune time with centre-backs Gary Warren and Brad McKay both suspended for Saturday’s Ladbrokes Premiership encounter with Hearts, and fellow defenders Josh Meekings, Lewis Horner and Kevin McNaughton (Achilles) out with long-term injuries.
The versatile defender, who can play centre-back or right-back, made 31 appearances for Motherwell after being signed by Ian Baraclough, initially on loan, in January 2015.
The former Sunderland and Nottingham Forest trainee left just before the end of the transfer window last month after spending the first half of the season on loan with Notts County, where he played 27 times.
