Celtic FC transfer news: Will Ferry attracting interest from Celtic and other clubs confirms Jim Goodwin. Celtic are keen on Will Ferry, with his manager admitting the Hoops "have been sniffing about him, and other clubs as well." The boss insists he is "desperate" to keep Ferry and will offer him a new contract, but conceded the transfer could be out of his hands: "I'm not naive enough to stand here and say he'll definitely be here in a fortnight's time - if someone comes in with an offer the board deem acceptable, all of a sudden it's out of my hands."
Should Celtic go and get Will Ferry? Let us know below.

Jim Goodwin on Will Ferry Transfer to Celtic:
"Celtic have been sniffing about him, and other clubs as well.
Are you resigned to losing him, or hoping you can hold on to him?
No. Well, I've said for weeks I don't want to lose any of my players, but at the same time, every player in our squad has got a valuation, much like every other team out there. But I want to keep Will Ferry.
We as a club want to keep Will Ferry. We're going to offer Will a new contract and try and improve his financial situation and all of these things.
We're desperate to keep Will Ferry, but I'm not naive enough to stand here and say he'll definitely be here in a fortnight's time, because if someone comes in with an offer that the board deem acceptable, then all of a sudden it's out of my hands."
