Jackie McNamara delivers the box-office verdict on Martin O'Neill's Celtic future. The former Celtic captain explains why the noise around the manager has stopped — and why Martin O'Neill should be left to decide his own future.
McNamara's call: "He's box office with everything he does — the press, how he handles things, how he represents people. It would be good to see him stay on, whatever he wants to do."
What's YOUR verdict? Comment 🍀 if McNamara's right, 🤔 if O'Neill should walk.
Transcript of Jaclie McNamara's view on Martin O'Neill being the next Celtic FC manager:
It's shown how important he is, you know, there's a lot of kind of noise between the fans and the board and I think that kind of noise has kind of stopped in the last few months because the focus was back on the team and winning and everything else, he knows what it means to win. You know, and I think he's box office with everything he does, you know, the press and how he handles things, how he represents people and it would be good to see him stay on whatever he wants to do. He'll let him decide if he wants to do another year.
