"I do not see Dermot Desmond walking away." After Celtic fans threw tennis balls at Dermot Desmond during the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews, Alan Rough and Alex Rae disagree on what Celtic's major shareholder does next.

Roughy calls the protest embarrassing for the club as well as for Desmond, and says it depends how strong Desmond wants to be: he either sells his shares or tells the fans where to go, the way his son did at the AGM. Alex sees him doubling down. He says you don't get to Desmond's position without a bit of character, and points to the trophies won under his watch as major shareholder.
