The Football Show · 1 October 2026
"I'm just an old Scottish dad." GamesMaster legend Dominik Diamond on landing his first video game voice role, as the tough guy taking on horror demons in Black Tides: Draga's Wake. The trailer drops on 1 October.
It started with an email from a listener in Canada who said Dominik sounded exactly like a character in the game he was making, and a trip to a garage in rural Nova Scotia that "could have ended all kinds of horrible ways". Then home: after 17 years in Canada, missing his mum, and a big UK promoter wanting a bigger tour next March and April. "It might be the show about video games that brings me back to the UK."
Dominik Diamond Sings the Video Games:
Sat 3 Oct - Play Expo Blackpool
Sun 4 Oct - The Smoking Goat, Ayr
Mon 5 Oct - The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow
Tue 6 Oct - The Portcullis, Arbroath (fundraiser for the Arbroath FC Community Trust)
