Hugh MacDonald’s amazing claim on the Journos show that cocaine is a far bigger problem in football than alcohol. He suggests that not only is it incredibly popular with football fans at games, that he's allegedly heard that players take the drug recreationally.

The big problem we know with football and misbehaviour, but we don't know, but we heavily suspect, is not alcohol, it's cocaine. I think it's certainly widespread in England as well. I mean, I go down to England and watch games, as you know. Why is that catchphrase, or that line that you've just delivered there, not prominent in media circles at the moment? I think people shy away from saying drugs, you know, cocaine. I think, because I think most people, privately, I don't know if you agree, but I think most people privately would accept that there's a cocaine problem at football.
