Mark Wilson was left with "disappointment and pride" after Partick Thistle went out of the Premier Sports Cup with a narrow 1-0 defeat at Hibs. The Thistle manager felt his side were excellent in the second half, created chances and had a penalty shout waved away, but rued their failure to take a clear-cut chance - "that's the difference" at Premiership level. Wilson praised his players for showing they can mix it with a top-flight side and took the clinical lesson into Partick's promotion push in the Championship.
