Emile Heskey joins Peter Martin to talk about his role as ambassador for the Football Safety App, the racism he faced as a player, and a career that took in Leicester, Liverpool, Bolton and England.
Heskey speaks openly about being abused and chased from stadiums as a young player, why tackling it is "a society problem, not a football problem", and how the Football Safety App lets fans report abuse - anonymously if they wish - and get action taken. He pays tribute to the pioneers who came before him, Laurie Cunningham, Cyrille Regis and Brendon Batson, and reflects on the game getting safer for his own sons.
Then the football: why Martin O'Neill is one of the best managers he ever had, playing alongside Neil Lennon at Leicester, Gary McAllister and Gerard Houllier's Liverpool, the 2001 treble, the famous 5-1 against Germany, and the five-a-side team he would pick.
