Martin O’Neill responds to ‘aimed’ Hearts statement… "Nothing’s been proved" Martin O'Neill on Tony Bloom's Comments - Martin O'Neill responds to Tony Bloom on the Celtic title-decider incidents- an allegation that Lawrence Shankland and another Hearts player were assaulted by Celtic fans- and the Celtic manager isn't conceding the ground.
A TalkSPORT journalist asked O'Neill whether Celtic's title win had been "tainted" by what happened on the day at Celtic Park. O'Neill's reply has since sparked debate. Hearts FC owner Tony Bloom went on the record with with TalkSPORT saying two Hearts FC players had been assaulted. O'Neill is now responding to Bloom directly.
"If that's the case, then obviously that would be a deep apology from all of us at Celtic Park. That has not been proved."
O'Neill is not refusing the possibility — he's saying the evidence hasn't been produced. If Bloom can prove it, Celtic apologises. If not, the claim doesn't stand.
Where do you land on this? Celtic-fan view, Hearts-fan view, neutral? Comment below — 🟢 O'Neill is right or 🟡 Bloom is right.
