Plus the talk about Ross Desmond, with Celtic's AGM six weeks away. From The Football Show LIVE, 12 October 2026.
Transcript:
Just before we finish you on the Hearts thing. See, when you look at Calvin Miller and McPake, they're doing well, it's early, and you think to yourself, do you think Celtic and Rangers are looking at them and going, you could have got them for nothing? No, no, no, I think Derek would have... If it wasn't going to Rangers, and they hadn't already signed McPake on a pre-contract, I think he might have come back to Rangers. Derek, Derek McInnes, yes. Celtic, no. They just took an opportunity to get Miller, didn't they? Celtic had it in January. Yeah, but Celtic had the opportunity to go and get Will Ferry, and the opportunity to get Calvin Miller and all these people. But whoever is in there picking players, they should also be one of these guys that they say, we've got the list here. The board, you know, you're out, you're out with them.
You go as well. You go, all of you guys, just follow Dermot right out that door, because you guys don't know what you're doing these guys for the recruitment process should all be given the bullet. I mean, I don't know who... I don't know who they are. Some suggestion in the last couple of weeks about Ross Desmond, but there's six weeks to go, there's an AGM coming up, you know.
