St Mirren vs Motherwell: Six-goal thriller in Paisley as St Mirren draw 3-3 with Motherwell. The most telling reaction came from the St Mirren camp: disappointment at dropping two points at home. "It shows how far we've come as a group that we are disappointed with a point," with Motherwell celebrating the draw seen as proof of the progress St Mirren have made. Plenty to be encouraged by, but a game they felt they could have won.
St Mirren 3-3 Motherwell post match transcript:
I think it shows how far we've come as a group that we are disappointed with a point. Again, you look at Motherwell celebrating a draw the way they do, and it shows how far we've come as a group. I mean, they're a fantastic side as well, I like what they're doing. I suppose if you're a neutral, it's a really good game to watch. We did so much good stuff within the game, I'm trying to say that to the boys in there right now, but we have to keep playing like that. We have to keep showing everything that we're trying to do. Keep being brave, keep being confident in what we're doing.
