£25m for Celtic's Arne Engels is simply too good to turn down: with West Ham (and reportedly Everton) circling. Roughie thinks Celtic should cash in on Arne Engels while the money's on the table. Peter Martin and Tam McManus debate whether selling their record signing is smart business — or another sign of a board that won't back the manager.
Plus, on the opening weekend of the 2026-27 Scottish Premiership: Peter reckons Derek McInnes's Rangers will be much tougher to beat this season, the panel run the rule over Hearts and Hibs' European failures, and preview the fixtures across the league — Hearts, Aberdeen, Falkirk and St Mirren.
Tam McManus also gives his verdict on Gianni Infantino's future, arguing the FIFA president is a "dead man walking" as the confederations line up against plans to sell off the game's competitions to private investors.
And the show pays tribute to Franco Baresi, the AC Milan and Italy legend who has died aged 66 — one of the finest defenders the game has ever seen, a one-club man who won six Serie A titles and three European Cups across 20 years at the San Siro.
