"It's a terrifying statement to make." Peter Martin, Hugh MacDonald and Gordon Parks pick apart Scotland's 2-1 defeat to Slovenia at Hampden, starting with Sebastien Pocognoli's post-match verdict: "we weren't high enough".
A press with no triggers, Ben Gannon-Doak pinned at wing-back, Stephen Welsh left exposed, Oli McBurnie starting ahead of Kieron Bowie, and a half-time switch to a 4-1-4-1 that never came. Gordon says Pocognoli "set them up to fail", Hugh says the default answer is always "we'll do what we're doing better", and Peter wonders what Gordon Strachan, Alex McLeish and Steve Clarke made of it at Andy Robertson's 100th cap. With Scotland now out of the race for second in the Nations League group, the panel ask whether Pocognoli should start with a four, and why "we can't defend".
