Motherwell manager Alfred Johansson reflects on a dramatic 3-3 draw at St Mirren, a game his side rescued deep into stoppage time. Johansson praises the belief and character that ran through his team to the final whistle: "We keep believing to the last second." He talks up the strength in depth of his squad, the impact of five substitutions that turned the game late on, and the instant impact of debutant Kanga, who levelled just 48 hours after signing.
WHAT DID ALFRED JOHANSSON SAY AFTER St MIRREN 3-3 MOTHERWELL?
He was full of belief and praise for his squad: "We have a brilliant squad, so much talent, so much ability, so much spirit." He pointed to being able to make five genuinely impactful substitutions to finish the game strong as the difference in a late comeback, and highlighted the mentality that kept Motherwell going until the very last second.
WHY ARE MOTHERWELL DOING SO WELL THIS SEASON?
Johansson's message is about depth and belief: a squad deep enough to change games from the bench, and a group that refuses to give up. The late leveller in Paisley was the clearest proof yet of that never-say-die character.
Are Motherwell the real deal this season? Let us know in the comments.
