Motherwell Striker Conor Wilkinson hasn’t been the favored front man at Fir park as of late but the Irishman is ready to make an impact this weekend against St Johnstone.
He said: “I’m raring to go. I feel like I hit form against Hibs and the teams we played against and unfortunately I took a knock in training and that was me for the best part of four or five weeks.
“I am ready to go. I haven’t even hit the heights I was to up here yet.
“No one’s seen me at my best yet, I want to prove it and I want people to see that.”
Stuart Kettlewell’s side were once at the top of the table along with Celtic, tied on points however, before heading into the International break they recorded four defeats in a row to the Old Firm, St Mirren and most recently Livingston.
Although the striker admitted his side aren’t looking too much into the recent results.
He said: “We’re in a good place as a team, in the dressing room. We don’t look too much into defeats.
“At Livingston we went down to ten men we did have our backs against the wall, and playing on an astroturf pitch.
“I don’t want to make excuses but all these different things come into consideration.
“But we’re raring to go on Saturday to try and get win next to our names and go again.”
