Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was taking nothing for granted as his side look to seal their place in the Champions League semi-finals in Germany on Tuesday night.
Flick’s men take a massive 4-0 first-leg lead into their clash with Borussia Dortmund after a stunning performance last Wednesday that continued an unbeaten streak that stretches throughout 2025.
But with so much else on the horizon for his side – not least a four-point lead over rivals Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga – Flick was determined to keep his eyes firmly focused on the task in hand.

Flick told a press conference: “We are only thinking about our game with Dortmund. The rest is for the future. We aren’t looking any further.
“There is a lot of quality in our team and we always take things a game at a time. Playing Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals at their stadium is always going to be difficult. We need 100 per cent concentration.”
Barcelona have mixed injury news ahead of the trip with playmaker Dani Olmo returning to the squad ahead of schedule after two weeks out, while left-back Alejandro Balde is set to be sidelined.
Balde limped off during last Saturday’s hard-fought win at Leganes and a subsequent club statement confirmed he had a hamstring injury but did not put any timescale on his prospective return.

Barca’s near-certain return to the final four of Europe’s flagship competition comes as pundits queue up to praise his side and Flick has no doubts about the quality his team possesses.
“I have a lot of faith in this team,” added Flick. “We have gone through a lot of games without losing and we should be proud of that. I can’t complain about a single one of my players – this team is incredible.
“We have worked hard all season and the players are fit and in good form and motivation is always important in the final part of the season when you need that little bit extra.”
