AC Milan have announced the signing of goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano on a one-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.

The 35-year-old arrives at the San Siro from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina, who he joined in 2019.

Terracciano is expected to feature as back-up to Mike Maignan, who wears the number one jersey for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

The moves comes shortly after fellow keeper Marco Sportiello confirmed a return to Atalanta, with Milan moving quickly to fill the gap.

Terracciano played 10 times for Fiorentina last campaign, featuring mostly in their Conference League campaign, helping them to the semi-finals.
