Montrose remain one point above Kelty Hearts after Andrew Steeves’ late equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw at Peterhead.

The home side appeared to have clinched all three points when Kieran Shanks converted an 81st-minute penalty, but Steeves fired into the top corner from outside the box in the 89th minute.

Robertson struck his second of the match in the 68th minute to seal his side’s seventh league win of the season.

Leaders Spartans played for most of the second half with 10 men after Jamie Dishington was sent off in a 1-1 home draw against third-placed Clyde.

James Craigen fired Spartans into a first-half lead and soon after the restart Dishington was shown a straight red card for his challenge on Marley Redfern. James Hilton converted the resulting penalty.

Dylan Ross and Jack MacIver scored second-half goals as Elgin won 2-0 at home against Dumbarton and Forfar thumped Stirling Albion 4-0 at Forthbank Stadium.
