Lautaro Martinez scored a brace as Inter Milan beat Slavia Prague 3-0 in the Champions League.
The skipper scored either side of the break along with Denzel Dumfries’ first-half strike as Inter earned their second straight win in the competition after beating Ajax in their opening game.
Inter went close several times in the opening stages as Marcus Thuram had two strikes blocked either side of Dumfries’ effort which flew over the crossbar.

Martinez nodded over the bar but the forward eventually sent the visitors ahead in the 30th minute after pouncing on goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek’s weak pass and rolling the ball into an empty net.
Inter doubled their lead only four minutes later with a well-worked move stemming from a great run down the pitch by Francesco Acerbi, who played a neat ball in for Thuram to pass into Dumfries and he fired home from close range.
A slow start to the second half saw Martinez move into a promising position, but his flicked effort was easily saved by Stanek and moments later Stepan Chaloupek made a fantastic sliding intervention to stop Petar Sucic’s low shot.

Inter soon added their third in the 65th minute when Alessandro Bastoni fired a low pass across the face of goal for Martinez to tap home and bag his second goal.
Yann Sommer made a solid save from Muhammed Cham’s curling free-kick as the hosts looked to pull one back and Inter threatened to extend their lead further at the death when Pio Esposito nodded just over the crossbar.
