Brendan Rodgers has taken aim at the fixture switch which has moved Celtic’s game against Dundee at Dens Park from the evening of December 27th to Boxing Day at 3pm.
And the Celtic manager insisted that it is unfair on supporters that they have been asked to take to the road at this time of year for the seventh successive season.
“It is not ideal,” said Rodgers. “Obviously we would have prefered it to stay as it was, especially at that time of the year.
“It is interesting and I am pretty sure I am correct in this but the last seven years Celtic have been away at that period of the season so either we are very unlucky to be drawn away or someone is making tricks behind the scenese.
“Seven years on the spin this club has been away at that time of the season. That is not right for supporters so hopefully they can maybe look at that going forward. ”
