Rangers Women retained the SWPL Sky Sports Cup with a 4-1 win over Partick Thistle at Tynecastle.
Rangers took the lead in the 14th minute when Mia McAuley raced on to Kathy Hill’s superb ball over the top and drilled her shot past 17-year-old Thistle keeper Ava Easdon.
But the part-timers levelled four minutes later with a classy 20-yard strike from Rachel Donaldson.
Rangers, who lifted the cup for the first time last year, went back in front after 35 minutes when Rachel Rowe’s angled drive crashed into the roof of the net.
And they extended the lead in first-half stoppage time, Rio Hardy bursting through and tucking home her 29th goal of the season.
Seven minutes after the break Olivia McLoughlin swept in the fourth to wrap up the win and the first part of a potential domestic treble for Rangers.
