25 Mar DARREN JACKSON: KAMBERI HASN’T DONE ENOUGH TO SEAL RANGERS DEAL
Florian Kamberi won’t seal permanent Rangers deal if season doesn’t finish, insists Darren Jackson.
The ex-Hibs striker believes the on loan Ibrox forward will be forced to return to Easter Road after coming under fire for comments about the club in January.
He told PLZ Soccer: “You know you’re going on loan, there’s a chance you’re going to go back.
“It’s a great club, Hibs. They have a great support, don’t give them stick.
“Go do what you can if you want to try to stay at Rangers. I don’t think he’s done enough up until now.
“If have the problem of not getting to play the games, it’s going to be a hard one for Rangers to sign him on what he’s done already.
“He’s going to have to go back and probably with his tail between his legs.
“There’s probably going to have to be a few apologies.”
The 24-year-old Swiss international penned a short term deal with the Light Blues in the January window.
Kamberi made the deadline day move with Rangers struggling with injuries and suspensions up front.
