Hearts newcomer Jake Mulraney has revealed Inverness manager John Robertson helped sell him on a move to Tynecastle.
The 22-year-old Dublin-born winger was handed a Hearts history lesson by Robertson – the club’s record goalscorer – ahead of his summer move.
Mulraney, who also played with former Hearts defender Brad McKay in the Highlands, told Hearts TV: “Knowing how big the club was and having people that were previously here speaking to me about it as well, it was quite easy for me.
“Robbo pulled me in when there was interest and he just explained to me about the club, the fans, the facilities, the gaffer… everything.
“He basically bigged up the club and it made the decision even easier.”
