Bruno Martins Indi is hoping to make his loan move to Stoke permanent in the summer.
The defender joined the Potters on a season-long deal from Porto in August and has started every game since.
Now Martins Indi, 25, has revealed he is in talks with the club over his future
He told Sky Sports News: “We are talking to each other, the club and me. I have the intention to stay. We want to see what is going to happen.
“I was following Stoke City before I was here and I knew the way the manager wants to play. He gave me a lot of confidence to come here and he trusted me. (I’m) happy that I could give him that back.”
Stoke have kept three clean sheets in their last four games and are well on track for a fourth consecutive top-10 Premier League finish.
