Italy midfielder Michael Folorunsho has joined Cagliari on loan from Napoli in a deal which includes an option to make the move permanent.
Folorunsho joined Napoli in 2019 and has had a series of loans during his six-year stay at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The 27-year-old has played for Bari, Reggina, Pordenone and Hellas Verona and spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina.

“Cagliari is pleased to announce the acquisition of Michael Folorunsho from Napoli on loan with an option to buy,” the Serie A club said on their official website.
“Determination, physical strength, and the desire to make his mark: Michael Folorunsho is ready for a new challenge. Welcome to the Rossoblu, Michael.”
Folorunsho has won two caps for Italy and featured in the Azzurri’s 2-1 win over Albania at Euro 2024.
