Rangers cruised their way through Den Park tonight as Dundee suffer their 3rd defeat of the Premiership season.
After a delayed start through the weather, traffic and flares, kick off finally came around and Rangers wasted no time in getting themselves in front through Ryan Jack. The midfielder was able to capitalize on an error from Dundee keeper after Zach Hemming failed to keep ball within his grasp.
Danilo looked dangerous on a number of occasions tonight he finally got his goal on the 51st minute through no lack of effort. Sam Lammers then sent a screamer into the roof of the net in the final third from 20 yards to extend Rangers’ lead.
Dundee had chances in the opening half but as Rangers racked up the goals the energy seemed to drain from the hosts.
In the second half, Luke McCowan’s effort forced Jack Butland to spring into action quickly with the ball falling to the feet of Bakayoko but the striker was unable to put it past the Rangers keeper.
Dessers came off the bench in the final third and got his name on the score sheet as he slipped it past Zach Hemming. James Tavernier got the ffith and final goal of the night from the penalty spot sealing all three points for the Glasgow side.
