Steven MacLean has this afternoon been sacked as manager of St Johnstone.
The result comes after yesterday’s 4-0 loss away to St Mirren, leaving the Perth side bottom of the table without a win this season.
A statement on the club’s website read:
“St Johnstone Football Club can announce that it has parted company with Steven MacLean and Liam Craig.
“In the interim, Alex Cleland will assume responsibilities for First Team matters.”
