St Mirren scored three first half goals to take all three points against Hibs in the capital.
Goals from Gogic, Kiltie and Mandron punished a horrendous opening 45 minutes, which builds pressure on Hibs boss Nick Montgomery.
It took just seven minutes for the visitors to open the scoring. Boyd-Munce was gifted too much space in the box before picking out Gogic in the danger area. The defender leaped higher than any of his counterparts to smash the ball into the back of the net.
St Mirren continued their early dominance forcing Hibs into a number of mistakes, which eventually led to their second of the afternoon. A handball by debutant Nectarios Triantis meant Stephen Robinson’s side were awarded a penalty in the 32nd minute.
Up stepped Greg Kiltie who rolled the ball straight down the middle to make it 2-0 and increase the frustrations of the home support.
Just as it looked like it couldn’t get much worse for Hibs they conceded their third of the afternoon.
Just minutes before the half time whistle Mikael Mandron found himself in acres of space at the back post and converted straight from Boyd-Munce’s corner.
The Hibernian support let their feelings known at half time as boos rang out across Easter Road.
Hibs started the second half brighter managing to find some dangerous positions but failed to convert their momentum into chances.
It was St Mirren however who dominated the majority of chances in the second half.
Hibs seemed content in allowing the visitors to control the possession despite the scoreline.
The visitors continued to control large parts of the second half as they comfortably ran out 3-0 winners.
It’s a result that builds serious pressure on Nick Montgomery as his side sit in 7th in the league table.
Hibernian will now turn their attention to the champions Celtic who they face at home on Wednesday night.
For Stephen Robinson and St Mirren its a result that solidifies their place in the top six.
They return home on Wednesday night to take on 6th place Dundee.
