Inverness moved clear at the top of William Hill League One with a 3-0 win over East Fife at the Sarens PSG Stadium.
With second-placed Stenhousemuir not in action, the Caley Jags opened up a three-point lead after goals from Alfie Stewart, Paul Allan and Alfie Bavidge.
Stewart put them on their way after just three minutes with Allan, on his 26th birthday, doubling the lead on 69 minutes. Bavidge made victory certain with a header nine minutes from time.
Third-placed Queen of the South missed the chance to pull level with Stenhousemuir as they were held to a 1-1 draw at lowly but improving Cove Rangers.
Kai Kennedy gave the Doonhamers a second-minute lead but the hosts battled back to claim a point through Mitch Megginson.
Bobby McLuckie scored both goals as East Kilbride moved to within three points of League Two leaders Spartans with a 2-0 win at bottom-side Edinburgh City.
McLuckie netted twice in the space of seven minutes before half-time at Meadowbank and City’s frustrations were compounded when Malik Zaid missed a penalty after the break.
Forfar beat Dumbarton 2-0 with second-half goals from Martin Rennie and Jake Dolzanski while the clash between Stranraer and Annan Athletic ended goalless.
