Josh McPake struck a late leveller as leaders St Johnstone maintained their unbeaten start to the Scottish Championship season by salvaging a 1-1 draw at home to Morton.
Forward Eamonn Brophy put the visitors on course for a first league victory of the campaign by opening the scoring in the 22nd minute at McDiarmid Park.
But Dougie Imrie’s side had to settle for a fourth draw from as many games after McPake, who hit a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Partick Thistle on the opening weekend, cut in from the flank to fire into the bottom corner and leave the hosts on 10 points from a possible 12.
Partick moved level on points with second-placed opponents Raith thanks to a thrilling 3-2 victory at Firhill.
The Jags were in control of the contest following finishes from Tony Watt and Aidan Fitzpatrick inside the opening 13 minutes before Dylan Easton’s penalty and a Ross Matthews goal brought Rovers level before the break.
Logan Chalmers claimed the winner 15 minutes from time, with man-of-the-match Fitzpatrick registering a second assist of the afternoon to add to his goal.
