Arbroath sealed their first William Hill Championship win of the season following last season’s promotion with a 3-1 victory at Queen’s Park.

The Red Lichties, who cantered to the League One title in April under player-managers David Gold and Colin Hamilton, struck twice inside a minute through Ross Callachan and Findlay Marshall early in the second half.

Jack Wilkie rifled home a free-kick to put the result beyond doubt before Josh Fowler struck Queen’s Park’s late consolation.

Dunfermline brothers John and Andrew Tod were both on target as the Pars registered their first league win of the season, 2-0 against Airdieonians at East End Park.

Defender John fired home deep in the first half and midfielder Andrew struck just three minutes later. The pair both signed new two-year contracts at the club earlier this summer.

Dylan Easton’s effort inside the opening minute was enough to secure Raith’s first win of the season as they held on to win 1-0 at Ayr.

Easton lobbed the ball into the roof of the net from outside the penalty area and struck a post later in the first half direct from a free-kick.

Partick Thistle registered their first point of the season following last week’s 5-1 opening-day defeat at St Johnstone with a 1-1 draw against Morton at Firhill.

Ali Crawford fired Morton into a half-time lead before Logan Chalmers levelled it up for Partick from the penalty spot five minutes into the second half after Jackson Longridge’s foul on Tsoanelo Letsosa.
