Scotland have booked their spot at EURO 2024  after an incredible qualification campaign under Steve Clarke.

Now that Scotland have secured their place in Germany, it’s time for fans to book up planes, trains and automobiles in a bid to be part of history next summer.

Here we tell Scotland fans everything they need to know ahead of next year’s European Championships:

 

THE DRAW 

Scotland will find out who they will face next summer when the group stage draw takes place on Saturday, December 2nd in Hamburg, Germany.

 

WHERE

There are 10 host cities – Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusserldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.

Nine of the venues earmarked for EURO 2024 were used at the 2006 World Cup.

 

WHEN

EURO 2024 will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024.

Three time winners and hosts Germany are seeded in Group A, meaning they will play the opening match at the Allianz Arena on Friday June 14.

The Round of 16 will take place between June 30 and July 2nd, with the Quarter-Finals being played between July 5th and 6th.

The Semi-Finals will then be played on July 9 and 1o, with the Final taking place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday July 14.

 

WHO

There will be 24 nations competing in Germany, including the hosts themselves.

The teams will be divided into six groups and 51 games will be played in total to determine the winner.

The two top teams from each of the six groups will proceed to the round of 16, alongside the four best third placed finishers.

There will not be a third place play-off at EURO 2024.

 

WEATHER

Weather in Germany in June and July is similar to the UK, with the average temperature in Berlin fluctuating between 16 and 22 degrees.

 

TICKETS

Fans can register on the EURO 2024 TICKET PORTAL before 2pm on October 26, to have the best chance of securing gold dust briefs for the tournament.

Tickets are prices FROM 30 Euros for the group stage, 50 Euros for the Round of 16, 80 Euros for the Semi-Finals and from 95 Euros for the Final.
