Bayern Munich’s Lovro Zvonarek has joined Grasshopper Zurich on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder spent last season at Sturm Graz, where he made 22 appearances and scored two goals to help them win the Austrian league.
Sporting director Christoph Freund told the Bayern website: “Lovro Zvonarek gained valuable experience in the Bundesliga and the Champions League last season at Sturm Graz, where he played his part in the defence of the Austrian league title.

“He’ll now take his next steps in Switzerland and get even more game time. We’ll continue to provide him with close support on his journey.”
Zvonarek, capped by Croatia at under-21 level, joined Bayern from Slaven Belupo three years ago and is under contract at the Bundesliga club until June 2027.
