Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked Stefano Pioli after the Italian manager’s departure from Al-Nassr was announced by the Saudi Pro League club.
Former AC Milan boss Pioli was appointed in September but failed to win any silverware during the 2024-25 season.
Al-Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League after being knocked out of the Kings Cup and AFC Champions League.

Ronaldo quote tweeted the announcement of Pioli’s departure on X and posted: “Grazie per tutto!” (Thanks for everything), with a folded arms emoji.
A club statement read: “Al Nassr Club Company informs that Mr Pioli and his staff are no more the acting coaching staff of the first team.
“We would like to thank Mr Pioli and his staff for their dedicated work during the past season.”
Pioli, 59, is expected to return to Italy and has been linked with Fiorentina, where he managed between 2017 and 2019.
