Bayer Leverkusen have signed Ibrahim Maza from Hertha Berlin with the Algeria international determined to prove himself “on the big stage”.
Attacking midfielder Maza, 19, will join the reigning German champions for the 2025-26 season after signing a five-year contract until June 2030.
“I had the best opportunities to develop and improve with Hertha in the second division,” Maza told the official Leverkusen website.

Leverkusen sporting managing director Simon Rolfes said: “Ibrahim Maza is currently one of the most interesting young attacking players.
“Ibrahim suits us and our style of football.
“He has outstanding technical ability, is good at dribbling and assertive and he also has vision for his team-mates who he can brilliantly bring into play.”
