Real Madrid failed to build on their LaLiga advantage after Jude Bellingham was sent off during a 1-1 draw at Osasuna.
Madrid looked on course for three points when Kylian Mbappe put them in front after 15 minutes, but frustration started to boil over following several unsuccessful penalty appeals.
Referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero added to the visitors grievance when Bellingham received the second red card of his Los Blancos career in the 39th minute.

Bellingham had exchanged words with Montero, but looked astonished when he was given his marching orders and the incident came back to cost Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
Osasuna levelled with 58 minutes played when Eduardo Camavinga caught Ante Budimir inside the penalty area and the forward fired home the spot-kick to ensure the spoils were shared.
Brahim Diaz was rewarded for his goal off the bench at Man City with a start and Luka Modric was also drafted into the line-up by Ancelotti in Pamplona.
Madrid were unbeaten in their last 19 fixtures against Osasuna and should have taken an early lead, but Vinicius Junior headed wide from close range from Mbappe’s cross.
Mbappe was then denied himself before the French forward broke the deadlock for the visitors after 15 minutes.

Bellingham played his part with a crucial tackle and was able to send Federico Valverde away down the right, and he picked out Mbappe who swept home for his 25th goal of the campaign.
Mbappe squandered another opportunity before Madrid’s task was made a whole lot harder with six minutes of the first half left when Bellingham was sent off.
Frustration had started to build after a number of failed penalty appeals for Madrid and referee Montero pulled out a red card for Bellingham after 39 minutes after the England international exchanged words with the official.
Ancelotti elected against any changes at half-time and his decision came back to haunt the Italian’s side when Osasuna were awarded a penalty in the 57th minute.

A VAR check was required, but it showed Camavinga had caught Budimir inside the area and the Osasuna forward picked himself up to fire straight down the middle to level the scores.
Madrid responded strongly and Mbappe fired wide before Ancelotti introduced Rodrygo for Diaz with 21 minutes left.
The visitors remained on the front foot, with Valverde and Modric both going close before Mbappe was denied in stoppage-time as Los Blancos failed to find a late winner.
