Hearts will be looking to bounce back in tonight’s Edinburgh derby after the weekend’s 5-0 mauling at the hands of league leaders Rangers

Steven Naismith’s side will be bidding to return to winning ways, with four wins from their last five league games.

Meanwhile, Hibs go into the match after their first win in five games, coming against Dundee last weekend.

The Hibees sit just two points behind Tony Docherty’s side, who take on champions Celtic in Glasgow tonight.

A win for the Easter Road side would catapult them into the top 6, if Dundee fall to defeat at Celtic Park.

Lawrence Shankland could be a match decider once again for Hearts, with the Scotland international already netting an impressive 18 league goals this season.

The Jambos skipper has already found the net twice against Hibs this season.

He fired in a 93 minute winner against Hibs back in December to earn a 1-0 win for Hearts.

Zander Clark could also play a key role for the home side, with the shot stopper expected to start in goal ahead of Craig Gordon once again.

The Scotland keeper has kept 13 clean sheets in 27 games this season, a record only battered by Rangers No1 Jack Butland.

However, Nick Montgomery will hope striker Dylan Vente will continue his current form after netting his fourth goal of the season last week against Dundee.

The Dutchman has been asked to play out of position much of the season due to a number of Hibs injuries but he looks back to his goal scoring best after being returning to his favoured number nine position.

And January loanee Myziane Moalida could be another pivotal player for Hibs if they are to get a result against there city rivals.

The winger joined the side on loan form Hertha Berlin and since then has bagged himself a very respectable two goals and one assist in just six appearances for the Hibees.
