0800 – Bayer Leverkusen signed 19-year-old Jamaican winger Leon Bailey from Belgian club Genk on a five-year contract for a reported fee of around 15million euros (£12.8million).
0802 – Marvin Emnes, 28, rejoined Blackburn on loan from Swansea until the end of the season, marking a return to the club he had represented on loan from August until the turn of the year.
0931 – Emmanuel Adebayor passed a medical with Istanbul Basaksehir. The Turkish club soon after confirmed the signing of the 32-year-old on a reported 18-month deal.
1020 – Las Palmas signed Paris St Germain forward Jese Rodriguez on loan until the end of the season. He had arrived at PSG from Real Madrid in the summer in a deal thought to be worth 25million euros.
1031 – Jordi Gomez, 31, ended his second spell at Wigan by joining Rayo Vallecano until the end of the campaign.
1114 – Goalkeeper Matt Gilks joined Wigan in a permanent deal from Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
1119 – Italy defender Andrea Ranocchia joined Hull on loan from Inter Milan for the rest of the season.
1235 – former Newcastle and Chelsea striker Demba returned to Besiktas on loan from Shanghai Shenhua.
1308 – Inter Milan announced the signing of Australia centre-back Trent Sainsbury on loan from Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning. Like Ranocchia, who had left earlier in the day, he moves until the end of the season.
1330 – Nottingham Forest signed their second midfielder in two days when Joao Teixeira joined on loan from Benfica. His arrival followed that of Aaron Tshibola from Aston Villa on Monday.
1330 – League One Walsall signed Wolves winger Will Randall, 19, on loan until the end of the season.
1359 – Brighton completed the permanent transfer of Glenn Murray, who had previously rejoined them on loan, from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee. The 33-year-old striker signed a contract until 2019. They had earlier loaned Chuba Akpom from Arsenal until the season’s end.
1400 – Southampton signed 21-year-old goalkeeper Mouez Hassen on loan from Nice, reuniting him with manager Claude Puel, until the end of the season.
1402 – QPR recruited striker Matt Smith from Fulham for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old penned a three-and-a-half-year contract.
1430 – Jordon Mutch, 25, joined Reading on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
1500 – Yeovil signed 22-year-old striker Kabongo Tshimanga on loan from MK Dons until the end of the season.
1531 – AFC Wimbledon secured the signing of midfielder Tom Soares, 30, from Bury for an undisclosed fee.
1545 – Aston Villa recruited defender Jacob Bedeau from Bury for an undisclosed fee. The 17-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
1600 – Leeds announced the signing of Spanish winger Alfonso Pedraza from Villarreal. The 20-year-old arrived on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer.
1600 – Swindon re-signed striker Nicky Ajose, 25, for a third time, this time on a loan deal from Charlton until the end of the season.
1600 – Matt Taylor left Bristol Rovers for city rivals Bristol City for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old striker signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
1647 – Burnley signed Ashley Westwood from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder, 26, signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the option of a further year.
1815 – Reading signed West Ham defender Reece Oxford on loan for the rest of the season. The 18-year-old has played just twice for the Hammers this campaign.
1900 – Sergi Canos joined Brentford from Sky Bet Championship rivals Norwich for an undisclosed fee. The former Liverpool winger only moved to the Canaries in the summer but played just nine times – including three in the league.
1915 – Watford confirmed the sale of striker Odion Ighalo to Changchun Yatai for an undisclosed fee. Ighalo scored 39 goals in 100 appearances for the Hornets during two-and-a-half years at Vicarage Road.
1943 – QPR turned Pawel Wszolek’s loan deal into a permanent move. The 24-year-old Poland international joined from Italian side Hellas Verona for an undisclosed fee.
1948 – Fulham announced the signing of Gohi Cyriac on loan from Belgian outfit KV Oostende for the remainder of the campaign. The striker arrives with the club having an option to buy at the end of the deal.
2008 – Former Manchester United and Newcastle winger Gabriel Obertan signed a short-term deal at Wigan until the end of the season. The 27-year-old had been a free agent following his release from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
2015 – Norwich sealed a loan deal for Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks. The Canaries have an option to buy the defender at the end of the season.
2035 – Burnley announced the club-record signing of Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady. The 25-year-old joined from Norwich having been relegated from the Premier League with the Canaries last season.
2039 – Bradford made their fourth signing of the day by taking defender Kevin Toner on loan until the end of the season from Aston Villa.
2043 – Leeds signed Swansea winger Modou Barrow on loan until the end of the season. Leeds boss Garry Monk had previously worked with the winger at the Liberty Stadium.
2117 – Oldham Athletic re-signed Chris Taylor on loan until the end of the season from Bolton. The winger played 250 games for the Latics between 2005 and 2012.
2133 – QPR announced Ravel Morrison had moved to Loftus Road on loan from Lazio. The former West Ham midfielder previously spent time on loan at Rangers in 2014.
2143 – Aston Villa and Swansea completed a swap deal with Neil Taylor joining the Birmingham club and Jordan Ayew heading to Wales. Villa were also reportedly banking around £5million.
2151 – Bournemouth signed 18-year-old England youth international goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United. He joined on a four-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
2156 – Lewis Grabban joined Reading on loan from the rest of the season from Bournemouth. The striker has only scored once since November 2015 having re-joined the Cherries last January.
2203 – Italy international Manolo Gabbiadini sealed his switch from Napoli to Southampton. The 25-year-old is expected to cost £14million with add ons and has signed a deal until 2021.
2204 – Champions Leicester – who are just two points above the relegation zone after a 1-0 defeat to Burnley – captured Molla Wague. The defender joins on loan for the season from Udinese with the consent of his parent club Granada, and the Foxes have an option to buy in the summer.
2209 – Emyr Huws joined Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich on loan from Cardiff for the rest of the season.
2214 – Premier League bottom side Hull announced the loan signing of Alfred N’Diaye from Villarreal, subject to international clearance. The midfielder previously played in the top flight for Sunderland in 2013.
2230 – Blackburn winger Ben Marshall joined Wolves for an undisclosed fee. He linked up with manager Paul Lambert, who he worked with at Ewood Park.
2247 – Birmingham signed 19-year-old Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik on loan until the end of the season while the Blues allowed David Cotterill to rejoin Bristol City on loan.
2254 – Algeria international Adlene Guedioura joined Middlesbrough from Watford for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old midfielder penned a two-and-a-half-year deal at the Riverside.
2259 – A minute before the deadline Norwich confirmed the signing of Yanic Wildschut from Wigan for a reported £7million. The left-sided player was signed to replace Brady, who earlier departed to Burnley.
2300 – Marc Wilson’s loan move to West Brom from Bournemouth was rubber stamped. The defender played under Tony Pulis at Stoke between 2010 and 2013.
2326 – One of Lincoln’s FA Cup heroes, Theo Robinson, returned to Southend on a two-and-a-half year deal. The forward scored seven goals on loan from Watford at Roots Hall in 2008-09.
2330 – Aston Villa confirmed their move for Brentford striker Scott Hogan in a deal which could rise to £12million. The forward has scored 14 goals in the Sky Bet Championship season.
2349 – Omar Bogle sealed a deal to join Wigan from Grimsby. The 24-year-old has scored 19 goals for the Sky Bet League Two Mariners this season and steps up two levels.
2359 – Zach Clough swapped Bolton for Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee. The attacking midfielder signed for four-and-a-half years after scoring 21 times in 59 league appearances for The Trotters.
0006 – Wigan complete a second late signing with a move for Manchester City’s Republic of Ireland under-21 midfielder Jack Byrne on a three-and-a-half year contract, subject to EFL and FA clearance.
0010 – Ross McCormack ends an ill-fated spell at Aston Villa by completing a loan move for the rest of the season to Nottingham Forest. The striker scored three goals in 22 games after joining for £12million last summer but his attitude was criticised by boss Steve Bruce.
0015 – Venezuelan club Atletico Venezuela announce the sale of midfielder Yangel Herrera to Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
0027 – Hull confirmed the signing of Poland international Kamil Grosicki from French club Rennes for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. The 28-year-old right winger has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal.
0106 – Crystal Palace completed the loan signing of Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho until the end of the season.
