A brilliant game ruined by a moment in time where the pettiness of boardroom decisions prevented away supporters from witnessing a classic at Ibrox.

When we are long gone from this earth, hopefully there will be a switch away from individuals pandering to neanderthal fans who don’t like the sound of 7000 away supporters celebrating a goal.

Great credit must go to both managers and the players for providing an unbelievable spectacle to a huge audience.

This match had everything you could want in a derby match; goals, penalties, fouls, diving and an ending worthy of the best Hollywood has to offer.

Celtic should have been out of sight in the first half and if it wasn’t for Jack Butland they would’ve been.

They passed Rangers off the park, while the home side just lumped the ball up the park.

A bizarre start with a fluky goal, a definite penalty and a player in Fabio Silva who could easily have another career with Tom Daley in synchronised diving. He was embarrassing.

Second half, a different Rangers. Abdalla Sima changed the outcome of this game with the flow of the attacks now moving towards the Celtic penalty area.

Silva won a penalty, I didn’t think it was. A lot of Rangers fans looked hacked off with his antics, but thankful of the lifeline.

Callum McGregor looked off it when he came on and his mistake allowed Sima to get his own slice of good fortune to equalise.

If Celtic thought they had won it with Idah’s goal, the finish from Matondo put the tin lid on a cracker of a match.

Who will win the league now? For me, that will be decided at Celtic Park after the split, when once again the childish and backward nature of one boardroom will be replicated by another as away fans will be denied the ultimate showdown for the title.

Only in Scotland, can we manage to eliminate the thrill of a rollercoaster season by blocking one section from buying a ticket for the ride.
